Council supports the preservation of the history of the Shire’s cemeteries and records are maintained for genealogy research.

The Cemetery Terms and Conditions compiles all information relating to the terms and conditions under which Council provides cemetery goods and services, including cemetery development, maintenance, prohibited activities, fees and charges, interment right, interment activities, memorials, adornment of memorials, record keeping and privacy statement. This document contains detailed information about application forms and cemetery approvals and processes.
The Cemetery Memorial Specifications Guideline provides details about the allowable styles and dimensions of permanent memorials that may be constructed and installed within Council operated cemeteries (for example, headstone, grave, vault, mausoleum).
